I’m an outsider, an idiot non-technical person investing in science and technology ventures at the edge of what is possible. A big game hunter constantly trying to simplify complexity.
I like to back no-safety-net people and believe that the best thing a venture capitalist can do for founders is give them money and get out of their way.
I’m always trying to learn by not taking notes. I shoot from the hip and (most of the time) stick to my guns.
bio (tl;dr):
Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dropped out of law school 2 weeks before graduating to start my first company. Why? Because.
Spent the next decade building, crashing and selling some technology companies in LatAm. Burned out and decided to take 2 years off. I was lucky enough to be able to travel the world while spending my days having coffees/beers with founders and losing a bunch of money learning as an angel investor. I split my time between San Francisco, Paris, London and New York.
Ended up joining the world’s most active deep tech fund, SOSV, in 2017. Spent 4 years as a Partner there and invested in 43 companies.
In 2021 I decided to raise my own fund and build the firm that I wished I had on my own cap table.
I’m into sneakers, unpretentious food, motorcycles and serious discussions about not so serious things.
I currently live in London with my wife and spend my days trying to sell money to exceptional people doing exceptional things.

Unfortunately, I only invest in funds run by people I’ve known for a while. If we’re friends and you’re raising a fund, call me - you have my number.
What’s your value add?
I’m ride or die. Besides that - not much I think. Got a 98 NPS tho - so maybe it is better if you ask founders I’ve worked with.
Are you a good investor?
I’m not sure. Gun to my head? I'd probably say “no”. Time will tell I guess.
